FAQs & Important Information

Planning to spend the day at Noah’s Ark Waterpark? We know you may have a few questions regarding what is available or what is prohibited. We have put together a list of the most frequently asked questions to ensure you have all the information you need to know! Of course, if you don't see an answer you are looking for, don’t hesitate to contact us

Should you become separated from your party, make arrangements to meet at Guest Services, located directly inside the Main Entrance. If you need assistance finding your child, please contact Guest Services or any Noah’s Ark Team Member.

We have four kiddie water play areas including TadPole Bay, Jumping Waters (near StingRay) and areas near both wave pools.

June is always a great time to visit us we are usually slower at the beginning of our season. If you visit in July or August, Tuesdays and Wednesday are traditionally slower.

Our guests are welcome to come and go! If you need to leave, please make sure you receive a stamp from our Admission Attendants prior to leaving.

We strongly suggest that minors under the age of 18 be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian. The park does not assume any responsibility or liability for unattended minors.

Please designate a specific meeting spot and/or check-in times for your group should anyone get separated. Noah’s Ark will not page separated parties.

If you have a disability, please visit our Guest Relations office upon your arrival. They will share which rides and attractions are appropriate for your abilities and will help you make the most of your visit. Or please call us at (608)254-6351 for information regarding accessibility and accommodations.

Over 250 Ellis & Associates trained and licensed Lifeguards are stationed throughout the park for proper ride dispatching and guest assistance in splashdown pools. They are all here for your safety and service.

We encourage guests to leave all valuables at home. However, we understand you may need a place to keep purses, wallets, and keys for worry-free fun. As a convenience, we offer locker rentals in standard, large, or jumbo. No key needed; you’ll be provided a passcode.

There are many shaded areas located through out the park. Lounge chairs are available, on a first come, first serve basis or you may choose to rent a private cabana for the day. It is always a good idea to wear sunscreen at Noah’s Ark , whether in the shade or direct sun.

Yes, our changing and shower facilities are located near both wave pools as well as Paradise Lagoon.  They are easily accessible for all our guests.

No alcoholic beverages may be brought into the park. We have beer and other alcoholic beverages available at our bars located throughout the park. Noah’s Ark is a non-smoking facility; however we have designated smoking areas for our guests. Please refer to our many wall maps for designated smoking areas, or ask any employee.

Yes, an admission ticket is required to enter the park. Don't worry, besides the thrills and chills of the waterslides, there are plenty of less daring attractions and family play areas. For guests with special needs, please call us at (608) 254-6351 for information regarding accessibility and accommodations.

We do not provide towels for our guests at the park. Please bring your own towel to dry off after a long day of fun!  If you forget a towel, you can purchase one at the shops inside of Noah’s Ark.

No outside food or beverages are allowed inside the park. Noah’s Ark has a wide selection of food to choose from; such as hamburgers, french fries, pizza, salads, veggie burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, chicken, ice cream, soft drinks, popcorn, funnel cakes, and cotton candy. Food is served throughout the park in food stands and outdoor seating areas.

A small child may:

  • Sit between the legs of an adult on Slidewinders – now called Toucan Twisters .
  • Sit on an adult lap in a tube on the Endless River, Big Kahuna Wave Pool, and Adventure River.
  • Ride in the opening of a double tube with an adult in the other opening on the Bermuda Triangle.
  • Sit next to an adult on Congo Bongo and Chameleon.
  • Sit in the opening of a double tube (must be 48″ tall) with an adult in the other opening on Black Thunder.

If you forget something at home, please check in any of our three gift stores for merchandise along with beach towels, swim diapers, sunscreen, film, and batteries, and more.

Eyeglasses may be worn on some attractions with a head strap only. Please check the safety rating information at the front of each attraction for more information.

Waterwings and life jackets are the only flotation devices allowed in the Park with the exception of the kiddie pools, where you can use any device. No flotation devices of any kind are allowed in Paradise Lagoon or on the Slidewinders.

The Park offers a variety of water-based activities for all ages and all swim levels. Height restrictions are posted for all attractions and enforced. We strongly recommend that Minors (under 18) be accompanied by an adult. The park does not assume any responsibility or liability for unattended minors.

Only you know your own, your child’s, or anyone you are supervising level of swimming skills. We strongly recommend all Guests under 48″ or who are weak or non-swimmers wear Coast Guard approved lifejackets where appropriate. In the wave pool, all guests under 48″ are REQUIRED to wear a lifejacket and be accompanied by an adult. We insist that parents keep their children within arms-reach for their close supervision on all water activities. Lifejackets are free of charge and available next to our wave pools. When in doubt, wear a life jacket!!

Diving is not permitted in any pool or attraction at the park. 

Proper swimwear must be worn on all rides and attractions.

No street clothes and no bathing attire with buckles, belts, rivets, metal or cut-off jeans permitted. No head wear on specific rides. For guest safety, no masks, snorkels or swim fins please.

VIRGINIA GRAEME BAKER POOL AND SPA SAFETY ACT – We are VGB Compliant.

Of course, we have life jackets! These are located around the park for easy access. Some attractions do not allow them. For the Wave Pool,  life jackets are required for our guests under 48” tall.

Admission is based on height instead of age. Children under 36 inches get in free, the reason for this is that most of the attractions have height restrictions in order to ride them. Children 36”- 48” qualify for a Jr. ticket. 

Our First Aid Station is located by Safari Outfitters and Kluck's Tin Coop. However, if you have a pressing issue or emergency, please find one of our team members who will call our EMTs.

Yes. The following regulations are for the safety of our guests and employees and apply to all guests regardless of age, sex, religion, race, color, or creed. Failure to comply with any part of the dress code may result in ejection from the park without refund. For your safety, Noah’s Ark reserves the right to physical inspections of any items carried in or out of the Park.

  • Traditional swimwear is required in order to participate in the aquatic attractions.
  • Tube and mat rides, require that guests are free from long pants, loose jewelry, denim, cut-off shorts, and eyewear (tube and mat rides only).
  • Children in diapers and those being toilet trained must wear approved swim pants in the water. 
  • No provocative or thong swimsuits, clothing with rivets, buckles, belts or metal ornaments.
  • No long pants or cut-off shorts.
  • Displayed tattoos must be in good taste and not offensive to a family environment.
  • Guests may not display anything that contains obscene, foul, profane, illegal or unacceptable language, pictures, symbols, phrases, etc. 

If your clothing or swimwear does not comply with these regulations, appropriate attire is available for purchase at any of our three gift stores.

Noah’s Ark  accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express cards at any ticket entrance and most permanent food locations. Admission tickets, Season Passes and Cabanas are available to purchase online. 

All-Day General Parking is $25.00 online, and $25.00 at the gate. Preferred Parking is $30.00 and can only be purchased at the gate. Preferred Parking is centrally located near Tadpole Bay and available on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Yes, you can wear sandals/water shoes in the waterpark. However, you cannot wear them on any rides/attractions except for: Congo Bongo, Kowabunga, Chameleon and Flash Flood.
